The Hermit. Withdrawing from the noise is how the real answer will be found. Ninth: deliberate withdrawal. The lamp carried inward, away from the noise, because what is being looked for is not out there. Its sign is Virgo, which refines: correction of detail, service rendered competently, and a standard applied first of all to oneself. Being Earth, it resolves only in material terms: time, money, body, or work actually done. Its keyword range runs through introspection, solitude, inner guidance, soul-searching, and a lantern in the dark.
