In Swords, that stage plays out in thought, conflict and hard truth. Its sign is Gemini, which divides and exchanges: two things at once, quick contact, and information moving faster than it can be checked. Being Air, it resolves through what is thought and said, and it will need words. Its keyword range runs through painful ending, rock bottom, betrayal, and a final defeat.

Under the Sun, its action is to make plain and to centre: what it touches becomes visible, and becomes the thing everything else arranges itself around. Reversed here, it is loosening rather than failing. The grip of this is coming off, and the reversal reads as release rather than denial. Its keyword range, to be read here as difficulty, delay, or a lesson not yet learned: resisting the end, slow recovery, a partial ending, and survival after the worst.
